I have downloaded the demo of gsx, and it worked, so I then purchased it for the full amount of money, but it didn't reconise that I payed the money and only the demo works, can anyone help?

Which method you used to purchase it ? if you purchase it on the Web page, the activation is not automatic, you need to register your Serial Number using the "Register Serial" function of the Addon Manager.

Open Addon Manager, choose GFX and click Register/Activate. It`s a simple.

Thanks guys, I got it working from your advice and the addon was absalooooootly amazing!!! until one day it suddenly stopped and said: the runtime has stopped working for more information go to the support forum! so I have, can anyone HELP me AGAIN, please I would really apprieciate it, thank you so much!!!

With "the runtime has stopped working" you mean the MS Visual C++ runtime ?


This seems to indicate your Visual C++ libraries are missing/corrupt or not the right version. Try the following:

- Go in the Windows control panel, and Uninstall ALL the instances of the Visual Studio 2005 redistributable runtimes. You might have more than one version: remove them all.

- Then, after removing everything related to VS2005, reinstall again these 3 files:

AFTER installing all the runtimes, it could be useful running Windows Update and update everything, including the optional downloads.

That would be the problem in the first place: it's just not normal you won't see it, because BOTH FSX and all our installers install a MS Visual Studio 2005 redistributable package and, since FSX installs the 2005 standard version, and we install the 2005 SP1 version, on a properly installed FSX system, you should see at least two entries for the runtimes.

This seems to indicate there is some kind of problem with your system libraries, and it's probably the cause why the programs are not running.

In any case, try to just download and install all the 3 files I've suggested, even if you don't see anything to uninstall. They might work.
