That's an old version, which is not normal you would getting, since the installer always download the most current one from the internet.
First, download and install the Stand-Alone Addon Manager for FSX, then check your antivirus, because maybe it's blocking the download of the current version (which is 2,9,0,1 )

Still the same problem now with version 2,9,0,1. What to do? Regards Henrique

First, you should reboot Windows, usually the problem goes away. And, keep allow the module to run, even if FSX say you shouldn't, it will eventually fix itself, especially after a windows reboot.

I am sorry. Reboot the computer and the problem did not go way. I say yes when fsx asks if I want to run it but after saying yes fsx stops working. I also configure the antivirus to exclude the following files from scanning: FSXFolder\bglmanx.dll FSXFolder\fsdreamteam\Couatl\couatl.exe Any clue? Henrique

As I've said: keep allow the module to run, even if FSX say you shouldn't, it will eventually fix itself Try a few times, then reboot Windows again, and if still doesn't work, try uninstalling/reinstalling, and reply YES to the question "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager ?" when uninstalling.

It seems to me that you are not understanding. I say YES to allow the module to run but after saying YES FSX crash. If I say NO FSX continues running. How many times do you think it is reasonable to uninstall and install? I've made it five times . Regards Henrique

It seems to me that you are not understanding. I say YES to allow the module to run but after saying YES FSX crash. If I say NO FSX continues running. I understood perfectly, you always have to say YES, EVEN IF FSX CRASHES!!! Try a couple of times, always say YES, even if FSX crashes, and try doing the same a Windows reboot. How many times do you think it is reasonable to uninstall and install? I've made it five times I haven't said you need to *reinstall* multiple times, I've said to try running FSX and say YES to allow running the module a few times. I've only asked to reinstall ONCE, and reply YES to the question "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager ?" when uninstalling, just to be sure you get the latest version and the Trust request is refreshed. No need to "reinstall multiple times" If it still doesn't work after a reboot (a Windows reboot, not a reinstall), you probably have the VC++ runtimes corrupted on your system, in this case you can try this: - Go in the Windows control panel, and Uninstall ALL the instances of the Visual Studio 2005 redistributable runtimes. You might have more than one version: remove them all. - Then, after removing everything related to VS2005, reinstall again these 3 files: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=32BC1BEE-A3F9-4C13-9C99-220B62A191EE&displaylang=enhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647&displaylang=enhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=766a6af7-ec73-40ff-b072-9112bab119c2&displaylang=enhttp://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=26347AFTER installing all the runtimes, it could be useful running Windows Update and update everything, including the optional downloads.
