I have this message "couat1 scripting engine for FSx has encountered a problem
and need to close".

OS Windows XP SP3 64 Bits with update Microsoft C++ 2005 for 64 bits installed.

Could you help me please.

You need to install the *32* bit version of the VC++ 2005 runtimes, the 64 bits are only needed for 32 bit applications. I'm sorry for not being able to give more info, but we can't really guaranteed it would work on XP 64, nobody has tested it so far.

I try the 32 bit version but the result is identical,
is there a package to install it preferably ?

- Go in the Windows control panel, and Uninstall ALL the instances of the Visual Studio 2005 redistributable runtimes. You might have more than one version: remove them all.

- Then, after removing everything related to VS2005, reinstall again these 3 files:

AFTER installing all the runtimes, it could be useful running Windows Update and update everything, including the optional downloads.

It might, in theory but, as I've said, nobody really tested it (none of us has it, and none of our testers too), you are the first report of it. I guess that's why we have Trial versions for.

I have downloaded and installed the new update,now it's good for me,GSX work .
