Zurich 2.5 for FS9 released
« on: December 23, 2011, 06:16:27 pm »
To all Zurich customers: we released an update to our Zurich scenery, featuring the new Terminal B, which entered in operation recently. The update is free for all existing customers.

To get the update, download and install the new full installer, it's not necessary to uninstall the old version first. The installer will indicate the version as 2.5, if your installer already is 2.5, you don't need to download it again.

Hi, Umberto

Is it also available for FS9?
The topic says FSX but this post is in the FS9 section, so I hope it is just a typo.

many thanks for the update!

It is also for the new version of a collaboration with AES?

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

We already sent the needed files for AES.

It deletes those isolated jetways, but I'm still having flying windows :S

Because you haven't applied the fix suggested here:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=5215.msg47774#msg47774

The installer has been already updated in the meantime to properly remove that file automatically.

Hi Umberto,
First of all, I wish you a happy new year (and to all the team) and would like to thank you for this great update of Zurich airport.

Just a small regret, the ground markings like taxilines disappear 230 ft above the surface. In the same way, runway markings disappear 560 ft above the surface.
It's a bit low. On my old config, I don't see any impact on my fps when both kind of markings are visible or not.

Could you increase the visibility range to something like 1000 - 1500 ft above the surface for both kind of markings ?

Best regards,
Emmanuel

Config: FS9.1 / Athlon 64 4000+ / Asus A8N-SLI Premium / Asus EN9800GTX+ 512 Mo / Corsair TwinX 2 Go RAM / Seagate Barracuda 200 Go SATA

Ok, that could be arranged. The range was thought with the 2007 PCs of when Zurich was released...

But it was very good at that time. We try to target even the not-so-good systems.

A big thank you to the FS Dream Team developers for this update. With all the AES fixes (in both fs9 and fsX) Aerosoft told us about, this airport is simply beautiful to fly into and out of. Happy 2012 to all.
