However, some flights ago I saw that moving closer the tug its wheels suddenly appeared, then disappeared again when moving far from it. Maybe it can help the solution.
That's exactly how they are supposed to work. They have obviously LOD levels to help with fps, and LOD is depending both from viewing distance and zoom level. So, if they appear when you go close, it seems you don't have any problem, and the scenery is working as designed.
