Hi all,
Some help needed please as I have what it seems the common problem of buildings not appearing.
I re installed Zurich X in a totally new computer.
Just downloaded it and run it. Can see the tarmac, traffic and the moving jetways. But no buildings.
I know that this is now version 2. I used until now in my old computer the first version, bought in 2008.
What must I do to see the buildings?

Thanks,
Christos

The usual question: do you have both the Addon Manager and the Couatl powered menus under FSX ?

If you are missing one or both menus, the most common cause it's the antivirus, the first solution to try is this one:

- Uninstall the scenery. Reply YES when asked if you want to remove the Addon Manager and the Couatl Engine. Reply YES to both questions.

- TURN OFF your antivirus. Don't just exit from its interface, but turn off the real time protection. Actual wording changes between products, however, it's the option to scan every file that gets open in real time, without user intervention.

- Reinstall the sceneries with the Antivirus TURNED OFF. Don't launch FSX yet.

- Configure the antivirus to exclude the following files from scanning:

YourFSXFolder\bglmanx.dll
YourFSXFolder\fsdreamteam\Couatl\couatl.exe

YourFSXFolder it's usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X, if you installed it in the default folder.

- Now you can turn the antivirus back on, and launch FSX.

- Check you are seeing BOTH the "Addon Manager" menu AND the "Couatl powered products" menu under the "Addons" menu.

I can see only the Addon Manager in the "Addons".
Should the Couatl Engine also be within "Addons" normally?

Yes, be sure you have configured the antivirus correctly, because it seems it's blocking Couatl only.

From the Windows control panel, under the "Add/Remove Programs", it's surely there, as FsDreamTeam ZurichX
