Noticed X PLANE 10 came out with some carrier shots, looks pretty good.

From what I've heard, it's not so good in the realm of flight dynamics, frame rates and ease of use, but it is good with night lighting and cloud shadowing.  I tried downloading the demo the day it was out, but the download was going so slow I stopped and just took other people's words for it.

Ok, I'd say there is nothing special apart from carrier eyecandies. Still no working cats, no IFLOLS (only old FLOLS), carrier aircraft have ugly FM, ugly exterior and awful interior design.
Perhaps in version 11 we'll see more improvements? We'll see...
