SF Carrier 2.5 (released)
« on: December 15, 2010, 11:28:14 am »
This is an update to my SF Carrier 2 mission and requires that you have the original SF Carrier 2 mission, along with Javier Fernandez's Nimitz installed.  A full installer is in the works.  This package includes no automated uninstaller, so please refer to the uninstallation section of the readme if you wish to uninstall.

Also note that the PDF documentation still reflects the original SF Carrier 2 mission and may or may not be representative of this update.  It is provided for reference only.  If anything differs between it and the readme, the readme takes precedence.

Many thanks to J.R. (neutrino) for his help in testing and his suggestions, and Steven Frost for creating the graphics along with checking my code in the updater.

Hi Orion and thanks so much for the 2.5. I have been flying the mission up to the Bingo call and I don't see any tanker in the air for refueling...Is there anything I am missing? My refueling gauge is working fine, I am using Sludge's version of F/A-18.
Thanks for your help and advice.

Hi Orion,

Forget my question above, I found the 737...
Is there a possibility to see that plane though in the refueling gauge list like one of the AI?
Thanks again,

Johan

Mickey: You're welcome :).

Johan: Unfortunately, there are limitations on the traffic that the refueling gauge picks up, and AI planes in a multiplayer mission appears to be one of them.  Although, if all you need is help navigating to the 737 tanker, you can turn on the Mission compass, if it isn't on already, and cycle the pointer so it's set to the Tanker POI.

Thanks Orion, the mission compass is the key. Great mission, can't wait for the 3.0 release :)

Thanks Johan and Simon :).

If you're observant enough, you might have noticed something else ;).  Prize goes to the first person who can figure out what I'm talking about ;).

That wasn't it, unfortunately.  And that's not from SF Carrier 2.5 either.

Thread resurrected. Orion, I recently got a new PC and installed SF Carrier 2 followed by the 2.5 update. However every time I try to fly it with a friend I get a "SimScheduler.dll" fatal error when the load bar gets to 100%. I tried to have my friend host and he got the exact same error. Any idea what could be causing this?
