Jet d'Eau added to Lake Geneva!
« on: August 28, 2010, 04:45:09 pm »
Hi all,

The Jet d'Eau is a large fountain in Geneva and is one of the city's most famous landmarks. In real life it is visible throughout the city and from the air, even when flying over Geneva at an altitude of 10 km (33,000 ft). As you probably know, there is no Jet d'Eau in Flight Simulator 9 and it's not included in the FSDT Geneva-package (which, other than that, is beautiful!). To me, it felt a bit like a Kai Tak approach without the checkerboard.

So I decided to add the fountain myself  ;D  I'm a complete newbie to scenery design, so it took me a complete day to learn about FS9 Effects and object placement, but I finally managed to place a decent fountain in the lake  ;D

You can download it here: http://home.planet.nl/~wieck003/LakeGenevaFountain.zip

Hi

Thank you for adding it which realy is missing in Fs9.
Unfortunately for me it's not working. It doesn't appear in the Simulator.
Using Switzerland Prof.

Any suggestions?
