I'm getting black squares underneath some of the parked trucks.

What could be the cause?

Make sure that "Ground Scenery Causes shadows" in your FSX/9 options is turned off. It would probably cause this, and it also eats frames. Let me know if it works  Wink

Are you looking from a distance or using a wide angle view (like zoom 0.60 or less) ?

If yes, then it's the effect of LOD optimizations: at the lower settings, the cars/truck are simpler, and don't use alpha shadows so, they might look like that. If they go back to normal when you get close, then it was the LOD.
