Of course I speak for myself only. And at least I do not ask for JFK trial versions to check the performance with AI, because I know that FS2004 performance will be fine with minimal visiual differences (yes, I have FSX installed for the testing puposes with all add-ons mentined)
I didn't ask for a trial version of JFK, all the sceneries come with a trial version. I had just mentioned to Umberto that I was having an issue with the trail version with AI not being visible and a few buildings floating. All of which was cured with a reboot. On a side note, once it worked properly and I was able to give it a go, I was able to make a few approaches with my AI still set at 100% and was able to maintain around 25 FPS pretty consistant. Like I said in that post, I buy all FSDT sceneries without using the trail first because I am confident that they will return good performance, and in the case of JFK I wanted to check first since I always hear that area is tought to fly with good FPS. I ran the trail and on my system it performs fine. In the mean time I will continue to enjoy my FSX set up while you enjoy your FS9 set up. That RIGHT...You tell 'em!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing considering that was done on a 2.4 ghz machine with fraps running at the same time. Still pretty impressive without AI. If his video is any clue, my machine running at 3.85 ghz should be able to tear thru this airport no problem, at least I hope.

No fraps. I recorded the video by placing my iphone 3GS in front of the monitor.

LOL, I never thought of trying that. I am assuming you recordered the flight with FSRecorder then played it back while you held your phone in front of the screen? Or did you actually fly and hold the phone still at the same time? I never though about making a video like that, but it actually looked good and like I said, I thought it was done with video recording software. Maybe I will finally try making a video of my own like that.

Your best work ever Fsdt/Kappa, luv the 3D bridges and new building textures! Just wondering if you have tested the airport with add-on scenery like MegaScenery and others since your using new techniques to create your products.
Keep it coming...Darryl

The flight around KDFW shows the shear size of the airport and amount of detail is excellent.

I could see a small cross, which was what you use when you don't have a yoke, joystick, or you don't want to use the keyboard.

So Kappa, would the ILS on runway 36L be fixed? There was a problem with that runway. Also the iPhone has a pretty good recorder. Thanks Kappa and Virtuali p.s. How much longer. We are all wanting to know this.

He was hitting the spacebar so he can change the view.
