Confirm bad engine start and pull to gate

CosmicWanderer:
Are there any plans for an option for a bad engine start and a pull back into the gate?

Currently in GSX Pro, after the pushback sequence, the ground crew asks you to confirm a good engine start before disconnecting the tug, and your only options are to either confirm a good engine start, complete the procedure, or abort it.

In the event of a bad engine start or other mechanical issue, which can happen in PMDG aircraft for example as they have state persistence, it would be great if there was an option to report a bad engine start, and thus having the tug pull you back into the gate.

Just as a suggestion. I've been in a real-life situation where the aircraft was pulled back into the gate because of a mechanical issue, so I think it would be nice to have in GSX too.

The only engine failure that is allowed is during a flight when both engines fail, and that is an option in the lessons panel in FSX. Other wise it's always clear sailing.

It's actually there, but the problem is it only works if you have custom pushback paths set up in the GSX airport profile. It doesn't work if you use the snap option.

GSX does a good job reading the scenery for the pushback procedure, without doing any custom pathing. I figure it wouldn't be that big of a challenge to simply reverse it if the option to pull back to the gate is selected? Cant say for sure though, I'm not a dev.

Would be nice to have without any custom configs.

Of course, you can always start the engines when you are still at the gate, but then you won't be able to use GSX pushback, but then you can still use default pushback with the engines running.
