We were discussing the general tone of the colors, and it's a trickt issue, because real pictures can be very misleading, depending the time of the day, the camera white balance, the lens used which impacts the amount of atmospheric blue haze getting in the picture, the season the picture was taken, etc. We have different pictures of the *same* object that range from brownish to sand to grey to grey/blue, so it's very difficult to decide which one is the real color. However, since we know most of people have an image in their mind of DFW having very warm colors, we'll probably tone the whole scenery more towards that hue. It's something we can do very easily, and up to the last moment.

Frankly, I have no idea why people who dont live in Dallas or Texas always have an image in their mind of it being "warm" or dusty looking. Frankly as a person who lives about 15 miles from the airport and was just at the airport a few days ago, I think the colors I have seen in the previews are pretty close. Obviously it will never be able to look exactly like it does in real life, but so far I think its pretty close. I wouldn't spend to much time warming the colors or dulling them, in my opinion any way. I think it already looks pretty close.

Wow, the project is coming along quite nicely. The screenshots that you share are quite stunning and do a remarkably accurate job of recreating KDFW. Now time for a curious question. Will the scenery project incorporate the same texture injection process as PHNL? If so, do you anticipate (given the ginormous size of the aerodrome) simulation pauses on the scale of PHNL or greater while on arrival to the field?
Nice work fellas.

At least from my perspective,I've noticed most jetways are white in color to a greyish color.

Bealive it or not I think it may vary from terminal to terminal, I know terminal D has white-grey gates as does terminal B, the ones on the other side are more brown. I'm flying out in a couple weeks so I'll try to verify it

Are you sure they aren't just taking pictures of the REAL airport. It is extremely realistic . I wish they could th KDAL too. Either way this will look great with Mega Scenery X Dallas-Fort Worth. Thanks FSDreamteam, this will be awesome. Alex
