I have been looking on all those little airports, there is a Modernization project for all  hawaiian airports, here all info.
http://www.hawaiiairportsmodernization.com
Another intresting link is the archive of info on all hawaiian aviation it's really intresting.
http://hawaii.gov/hawaiiaviation

The funny thing is that they use the same style for every airport, wich is good for me in terms of texture.

Thanks for link simbio, very interesting, I guess they use the same style to save on construction hehe. lucky like you mentioned they kept the same style. Hawaii just got approved for some flights to Korea and especially Haneda Airport which hasn't been done in a long time. hopfuly they dont change or add to much lol. kinda sucks that simming wise were missing a good b717 for the island hopping Ill use the tinmouse 737 and boeing 757.

We are surely ABLE to do it, but we are not planning to. Making a small fictional airport, gives a lot of flexibility about adding eye-candy, that is not possible to have when replicating a real airport. We just can't use a texture or another, because it looks good: we need to stick to the real one, even if it's ugly...and that is just an example.

In any case, the rules for posting screenshots are obviously in effect here so, you are kindly asked NOT to put images of non-FSDT products here.

Virtuali,

I was merely wanting animated motion-captured "Holla Girls" to greet me when I landed at those airports...and, hear the wildlife around, plus see the uncut overgrown grass, which is authentic to those fields.   Now is that too much to ask? Grin

BTW: What gives (removed the YouTube Video Sad ), you didn't like the video? Huh

Well, my intentions were to give you an example of what I was looking for and nothing else; but I understand your feelings regarding non-FSDT products.  However, if I were to want to convey to you an example, would a posted link to it be exceptable?

The latest (not released yet) version of our Python scripting engine already supports both motion-captured humans AND 5.1 positional audio for environmental sound effects. But is not ready yet to be released, and the Hawaii sceneries will be released before than so, surely we can't do anything with it for the initial release.

Don't need any example, we are perfectly aware what others do, thank you. A link is generally acceptable, however, it all depends what the post comments says in addition to the link.

Umberto, I really hope you guys can go back to the Hawaii islands and add some cool stuff with the new update of the Python scripting engine. after development settles down a bit after dfw and the islands package. I'm really fascinated by the what the Python scripting engine can do. do remember your original phnl scenery had moving palm trees and  even sounds from the environment. that was a nice touch.

I know its considred eye candy to many. but hopfully we can see some ramp workers driving there tugs and laggague carts maybe even taken the lauuage out for times when you just want to look at your aircraft at the gate. aes has gotten there but not fully yet. something like japanese developer Urakawa Dynamic Factory did for the overland airports. that I had mentioed a couple times before that was really fun too see at the airport.

These are all very interesting parts, that we don't consider to be just eye candy, but rather functionality improvements. There's a reason why we worked on adding complex animation support to our scripting engine...

However, we are planning something more complete than simply adding a few workers on a random scenery. The issue is, we have to finish first our two undergoing projects (Hawaiian airports and KDFW) before resuming working on that.

I imagine by the time you undergo work on that project, I will be making my transition into FSX. Although, I also think a fictional airport where you can continue explore potential for FS is a cool idea too.

There is virtually no one that would buy a fictional airport b/c no airlines fly there, b/c its obviouslly not real. It would be cool of course, but it would have no purpose

I doubt they would sell it, just for that very reason..

Thanks Umberto, look forward towards the functionality improvements of the airports and other things it will be tons of fun getting to see it in the sim.

Its funny you guys mention a fictional airport I personally would not buy it but aerosoft has been selling a fictional one already. called Andras Field.  Grin

Virtuali,
Even with the release of these projects, before the capabilities of the Script engine are fully implemented, can we "assume" that it will be (project) backward compatible for all FSDT Sceneries?

As I've said, many times already, we are not discussing anything related to our unannounced projects. In any case, I don't see how you would think we'd release something not backward compatibile with our other products.
