WOW this looks amazing, well worth the wait!! I dunno guys, ya bang on about getting preview shots and then ya go n criticise them at the very 1st ones!!

I never thought I would be flying in this part of the world but now FSDT are changing all that. I have a couple of questions though -

Has a price for the 2 airports package been decided yet, and would FS Dreamscapes ProMesh Hawaii be compatible?  Wink

Hi heres a quote from Umberto regarding the price. so it will be the price of a single main airport, like KLAS or PHNL but since there smaller airports there offering 2 in one package.

Following the Honolulu release, we can finally announce the first Hawaiian Airport package that will be developed right now:

LIHUE Airport - PHLI
Airport website
Airport location on Google Maps

Hilo Airport - PHTO
Airport website
Airport location on Google Maps

As you can see, the location has been chosen in order to feature two main airports with as wide as possible island coverage. The two airports will be sold only together, the price is expected to be the same as a single main airport, like KLAS or PHNL.

We have a running promotion now: the first PHNL purchasers ( until Feb. 15th ) will obtain the right to get this product with a 50% discount, as soon as it released. We don't have a firm release date right now, we'll announced it as soon as we get a better idea of the work involved. Expect the two airports to be done in a quality level not less than any main FSDT airport, if not better.

When Umberto locked the topic,It was a wait and see situation with Lihue. Since it has been reopened, I was wondering if he was serious about releasing Lihue after posting the preview screenshots i.e. day after.

The product will not be released tomorrow. There will be several other previews, covering Hilo as well, we are trying to get it released before August, but is still not set in stone.

Thank you for the preview pictures, Umberto. From this set there's two areas I hope you might touch on in future previews. First is the tourist helicopter area across from the cargo area, as I'd love to set up some activity with Heli Traffic from another developer. The second would be if FSDT is planning to do anything related to third-party mesh, such as the file done for Las Vegas, as the limitations of FSX create some considerable plateau effect at PHLI, generally not seen in the other major airports of the islands. If not, I'll find a way to smooth things out to my liking.  Wink

PHLI will come with a custom hires mesh from day one, it's already done.
