KCLT 2024 update??

Hello all,

Just wanted to know if an updated version of the airport was in the works or going to be on the way. After visiting the airport in person recently, many major things are out of date now. One big one being the construction of the new runway, roads have changed, etc. also the new overlook which has moved.

As this is the main airport I fly in, any chance this product will be updated in the near future?

Good idea - and a good opportunity to demolish the old tower which catches fire some days ago - without any injuries:

We'll plan for an update after the 2nd part of the new Terminal C will be completed.

Assume you mean the Terminal A expansion? The extension to C is a long ways off.

Second this! Tons of changes - new runway construction/overlook, conversion of 5/23 into a taxiway, deice pad/taxiway to 36R.

There are also a few taxiways already added, aside from 5/23 being Taxiway J now and not a runway, which would be great to have since they are used a lot real world.
  • Taxiway V northbound (west of 18/36C) that turns into Taxiway T wrapping around the approach end of 18C. This is a main route for aircraft landing on 18R/36L as it avoids having to wait to cross the center runway. Runway hold points on L and V15 added at 18C
  • Taxiway N between taxiway V and F (crossing 18/36C) has been removed.
  • Taxiway F now parallels taxiway E all the way south.
  • Ramp Orange and Blue lines, which are heavily used in the real world for aircraft separation

These are just a few, but the main ones.
