Any Plan for updates?
« on: September 20, 2023, 12:29:56 pm »
Hello

Are there any plans to update the LSZH scenery in the future?
In the current scenery a lot of details and/or buildings are missing, such as the SBB vent behind dock B. Or the new Swiss Logo on the hangar instead of the SR Technics logo. Also there are some bugs with the windows on dock B glitching around.

Cheers

Saying something like "a lot" of things are missing, would help if you made a complete and precise list of all the things missing, so we could check them one by one, and decide the feasibility of them.

And be more precise when reporting something that you might assume is a scenery bug when in fact it might be simulator limitation, since "glitching around" is not very clear.

The MSFS engine has issues representing overlapped transparent surfaces, which changes depending on visibility as well so, if you could be more precise about the problem, I could check if if was something we can fix or not.

First of all thanks for your reply.

Here is a list of thing that are missing or inaccurate, would be great if those could be integrated:
- RWY 28 height difference from taxiway to rwy is too much at intersection A1
- There is new aspahlt on rwy 28 and parts of rwy 34 (see attachments https://i.imgur.com/tnK7SX8.png and https://i.imgur.com/RfugfNR.png)
- the two entrances of the tunnel for airport vehicle on the side of the OPC are missing
- some details at and around stand Foxtrot (private jet stands) are missing (pic for reference https://i.imgur.com/kUIuBJO.png) | also would it be great to have some cargo standing at the cargo center
- new asphalt at stand Hotel, I think it's already in the scenery but not dark enough (reference from webcam https://i.imgur.com/EWELgGM.png)
- remove bumps in the autobahn at rwy 28 final (ingame screenshot https://i.imgur.com/AEdxDgn.jpg)
- Add some popular places for spotting such as the spotterhügel and the Flughafenkreuz (and more)
- The SBB vent between stand D05 and D06 is missing, there is the new asphalt in the scenery but not the vent itself (reference: https://i.imgur.com/4TqIsaC.png)
- The SR Technics Logo on the Hangar was replaced with a Swiss Logo (also a great addition would be a static Swiss A/C inside)
- The grass at intersection L7 and L6 has grown
- Maybe add the ongoing construction site at the Heligrill and spotterhügel
- Some Buildings and streets in the northern part of the airport are missing (E.g. https://i.imgur.com/D07vAZI.jpg)
- in general some taxiway markings are missing (e.g around stands foxtrot, but maybe more)

Those are the things I noticed maybe there are more. If some or most of them could be updated/integrated that would be awesome!

About the glitching at Dock B, here is a video of it: https://streamable.com/i6xvzy
If that's a sim limitations, nothing to worry about!

It would be great to hear from you what you think about this and if some of it could be fixed/integrated

Is there an update on this? It would be nice if these things could be fixed, or if there is a statement on whether it can be fixed.
