Los Angeles with Windows Vista
« on: April 06, 2010, 09:08:16 pm »
I am looking for a decent LAX scenery for FS2004, I have Windows Vista 32bit, and I was wondering if the Cloud9 scenery is compatible with Vista.  Someone told me a while ago that it wasn't, but I just wanted to check and make sure.

Thanks

If you use the version downloaded from our website, which has an installer remade by FSDT, you can run it in every version of Vista, including the x64 and Windows 7.

What about if I have a box-version?

You can use just the FSDT installer even with a boxed version, and there's no need to install the CD installer, run only the downloaded one.

If your boxed version was already active on your Windows installation, you don't have to do anything, it will run as fully registered. If, instead, you are reinstalling Windows or lose your activation for any reason, you can reactivate it, by selecting "Register Serial" from the Addon Manager menu for KLAX, and insert your Serial Number, as reported on the CD case.

Basically, you can forget your CD, the only thing valuable in your box, is the Serial Number...
