Autothrottles.....man they are cool.    I was reading the manual for the Superbug and realized I had never engaged the autothrottle in the approach mode.  Once engaged it will hold an AoA of 8.1.  All you have to do is put the nose where you want it.  Very cool.  I tried it out on the FS9 version and worked like a champ both on land and to that piece of crap Enterprise payware.  Better on long finals, not the best off the 180 position but it works.   Can't wait for Superbug for FSX.

I know why.
Because using autopilot, autoland, autothrottle, autotakeoff, autoparking and so on makes you as a pilot obsolete.
Just run a demo flight, that gives you about the same pleasure.

That's why you've been working so hard, because you like to fly and not just sitting around and watch ...
