With ShowMissingTextureAlert enabled in FSX, it alerts on several missing textures in the FSDT Honolulu scenery:

KFLL_2D_02_LM.dds
KFLL_2D_02_SPECULAR.dds

Yes, it's a confirmed bug.

Until we fix it, you can solve it this way:

- If you have KFLL installed, copy the following textures (yes, there are 3 misnamed, you probably tried it only at night ) from the fsdreamteam\KFLL\texture folder into the fsdreamteam\PHNL\texture folder

KFLL_2D_02.dds
KFLL_2D_02_LM.dds
KFLL_2D_02_SPECULAR.dds

If you don't have KFLL, it's enough to install the Trial, to get the textures, you can remove it afterwards, if you are not interested.

Does the bug cause a FPS decrease for PHNL?
Thank You!

Probably not, because FSX will not constantly search for a missing file at each frame. However, with the solution posted, the problem is fixed, apart for the cosmetic thing of having a texture named kfll* in a phnl folder.

Will I have to remember to remove these three files from the PHNL\texture folder prior to installing the forthcoming patch?  Or, will they just be ignored because they will no longer be referenced by the respective bgl?

This would be the case: in case you forget to remove them, they'll just take space on your hard drive.
