Hello,
joining the conversation just to ask if it's possible in VR to have the pushback pop-up messages enabled.
For example, after requesting pushback, I don't get the pushback options (LEFT, RIGHT, STRAIGHT etc.). To see the options I have to wait that the truck connection animation is finished and then select "Continue Pushback" from the general menu.
In normal screen, the options are shown automatically.
Thank you

Hello Umberto,
Would it be possible to have a look at this?
In VR there are few messages that don't work. The pushback pop-up is one example, but also the boarding/deboarding passengers count is not shown.
Thank you

Sorry for the silly question, but when I click on the addon manager.exe that I downloaded from Mediafire, it only installs.  Is that the only thing that needs to be done?

The Offline installer IS version 3.3.7, this post hasn't been updated with it, but the installer has, the very same day of the online version.

Why do I try many times but still fail to download?
The game is MSFS2024 (Steam)

Why do I try many times but still fail to download? The game is MSFS2024 (Steam)

The problem is caused by your country censored internet connection, since the installer is clearly blocked from:

- Updating itself ( the current installer downloads 3.4.0, your installer is trying to download an outdated 3.3.1 which has been removed from our server a while ago )

- Recognizing the latest version online is 3.4.0 ( it's showing 3.3.9 )

You should probably use a VPN

Sorry for being a dumbass, but I didn't recognize the installer contains GSX for MSFS.

As FSDT Live Update today ended after not even a second without any message, I thought to use this offline installer - but for my Prepar3D V4 FSDT installation.

Now the offline installer was running a longer time without error. Then I read that it is for MSFS - and I bought MSFS 2020 some weeks ago just for take a quick look, but I don't own a license for any FSDT MSFS product as I don't need it at the moment.

Now my questions:
  • is it necessary to remove the contents of this "MSFS offline installer" ?
  • and how could the uninstallation be done  ?
  • or is it a combined "all-sim" offline installer including P3D, so no action required ?

You MUST always use the normal online installer.

As explained in the Sticky post about what the Offline installer does and when is supposed to be used, it's ONLY in case you SUSPECT you are having a problem that might be caused by a network delay of your local Cloudflare node, which can be usually seen by noticing that the same files are downloaded over and over.

That's the ONE and ONLY case where you need the Offline installer, which is not a replacement for a full installation and should be used only after the normal installer and only if you have reasons to believe your issue might be caused by the network.

And the Offline installer being just 180MB or so, it will give you JUST the bare GSX *code* it can't be a replacement for about 10GB of downloaded installation, that's why you should always start with the normal installer, and why some issues caused by network replication can't be fixed by the Offline installer, because it only contains code, not models or texture.

Sorry, I was misunderstood.
Initial problem was: FSDT Live Update (license for P3D) started but then ended immediately after < 1 second.
Normally, the orange window finds some downloads, but not last saturday: whoops - and it closed itself.

I thought about a problem with my FSDT Live Update, and to solve it, I did what I shouldn't have done (sorry :o , thought it would clean up the FSDT environment)

But I didn't read the thread title: "GSX Support MSFS" - and own only a license for P3D, not for MSFS !
I don't want to use GSX for MSFS. And I even rarely use MSFS itself (bought it on Steam discount week shortly ago and just to peek  8))

So my question is: does this installer from the "GSX Support MSFS" something with my new MSFS 2020 installation ?
Or does it know that I don't have a license for MSFS so simply ignores it ?

After executing the offline installer (sorry once more) I didn't find any changes in MSFS 2020, so nothing seem happened, and that's ok - or do I overlook something ?

The FSDT Installer supports both MSFS and FSX/P3D, with the only difference that it cannot Install an FSX/P3D product from scratch, it can only update it.

The Offline installer, since contains only code updates and the GSX code is shared, might be useful in FSX/P3D for the same reasons it might be useful in MSFS.

Hi GSX Support, since 3.5.3 Update (I installed it on 29.05.2025) I get pink textures on catring trucks (MSFS2020). Seems as if the operator logos & license plates are not loading correctly - but I do not know why. The cargo cars look normally - passengers also fine.  I ran the FSDT Installer multiple times - it runs and installs "normally". However the issue persists. Any suggestion on how to proceed?

I've gotten the same thing since the 3.5.3 update. I've tried reinstalling with no improvement.

Exactly the same on MSFS2024.
