Couatl error (with log)

Had a couatl error pop up just before loading passengers in FSLabs A320.

This has happened once before in the past week and I ran Live update.

Can anyone shed any light?

We got a couple of similar reports, but we can't really understand the problem, those reporting it seem to all have the following in common:

- they all use the FS Labs A320

- they are all located in airports in the UK.


So, please, try to test it separately with another aircraft, and on non-UK airports, so we might at least understand if the problem is related to the airport, the scenery, or a combination of it.

The meaning of the error is that your audio card doesn't have any more sound channels available, because passengers are generated endlessly, as if the airplane kept resetting the passenger number to a default value in a loop, but that's just a theory.

Hi,

I have experienced this issue at YMML (Melbourne, Australia), thus at a non UK airport which is the reason for my post.

It is repeatable, I can't depart YMML using the automation of the A320 without the Coutl error. Notwithstanding, I can depart other airports i.e. YMHB (Hobart, Australia) and there is no issue.

The common denominator perhaps seems to be the FS Labs A320.

This post is for information gathering, I can manually work my way around it by not requesting any boarding through the airplane or through the menu.

Can I also say that your theory does seem to make sense, as I can tell it is going to happen as the noises sound like a thousand passengers are running through the aircraft at high speed.

You haven't said if it only happens with the FS Labs A320, as other reported. We are trying to understand if there's a pattern.

just to let you know in case if it might help, I did a bit of testing. You said it is a sound related error and it has to do with sound channels. When I got the error, I was using FSLabs with Airline pack and custom PA for the the airplane. Error info suggested running live update so I did that and the I also removed custom sounds for the Fslabs. After that it loaded normally, with GSX running as it should.

I don't know if that has anything to do with it but hopefully it might help.
