Unable to register, always in trial mode

Dear all,

As the title suggests there seems to be a problem with the registration.
I have searched the forums and seen a couple of similar problems but not the same as this one.

I have purchased the Zurich scenery and the installation went as expected. However after flying to LSZH I got a message trial period started and after 5 min all the buildings disappeared.
When I open the Addon Manager, from P3Dv4, I get the error that is in the attachment(Error.png).
If I go to the indicated path and start it manually I can see that the application has started and it is in the system tray with three options. When I try to register via the add-on manager within P3D it asks me to input the registration code (Error2.png).
After I enter the reg code, provided on the purchase receipt, nothing happens. It just exits and it returns to the sim.
If i leave the field for entering the code blank it starts a process of trying to communicate with the registration servers(Error3.png) but it stays like that forever.

Please advise on further actions.
I have disabled firewall and windows defender (the only protection on the PC)
