Have you followed entirely my previous advice, that said that on top of having to exclude the FSX folder, you also have to install the Addon Manager with the Antivirus TURNED OFF ?

Just excluding the folder it's not enough, you also need to turn off the antivirus during the Addon Manager reinstall

The FSX.CFG is in

%APPDATA%\microsoft\FSX

Just type this in the Start button blank area, press enter, and the folder will open.

I did all the steps and opened fsx, and got the message again. However I clicked yes and saw the add on manager was present, and the sceneries were visible. Just rebooted and opened FSX again and the message is gone. Thanks so very much for your patience.
