HNL ILS08L Missing DME

The ILS for rwy 08L is published as an ILS/DME approach.  The FSDT HNL scenery does not have a DME.

I have found it very common for payware scenery developers to simply use the stock navaids without checking to see if those are accurate or correct.  It is very easy to obtain airport ILS information from the FAA web site and it is free.  Let me know if you need help finding this information.

BOUNCE!  Come on minor correction.  Any current approach chart for PHNL ILS08L will clearly identify the approach as an ILS/DME.  It doesn't take 3 months to fix something that takes five minutes with ADE.  Please.

First, we haven't used the stock navaids without checking they were correct. PHNL comes with its own navaids, and they WERE correct at the time the scenery was made.

The 8L ILS is still indicated as an ILS with no DME in the charts we supply with the scenery which were current at the time so, this is not really a "bug" of the scenery, it's just the usual fact that sceneries should not be considered as sold by subscription, because they aren't. It's not that we took 3 months to do the update, it's just your post from November must have been missed, otherwise it would have be likely answered.

In any case, the updated AFCAD with the added DME is now online on the FSDT Live Update.
