GSX will be continued to be updated for a long time. In fact, we just updated it two days ago with a native P3D version in 64 bit.

Besides GSX can we expect Key West for P3Dv5?

Surely not, it has been designed to work with MSFS and integrate with its scenery only.

Umberto,

Have we seen the last airport you'll develop for P3D in Basel then?

You fill some important areas of the world with your airports, but some are very, very old.  Have you lost interest/incentive to renew your existing airport inventory?

Thank you

It's difficult to say now, it mostly depends how good the next P3D update will be, from a stability point of view.

Do we take it then the KJFK update is now not going to happen which was stated after KORD was released.

That was more than a year ago, when nobody had any exact idea how MSFS would be, what included, and how the SDK looked like. I don't think we are the only airport developers that have their plans changed because of that.

So can we take it that P3Dv5 is of no interest for some scenery developers anymore, and start looking else ware to ones that still do.

Use products from alternative developers where available and continue to enjoy your chosen platform. I do not foresee migrating my sim platform for 2 - 3yrs so my money remains with P3Dv5 scenery/aircraft developers.

I like to fly realistic airliners.  Still not possible in MSFS.  In fact it seams like it's moving further away.  So staying with V5 for now.  Every now and then I'll take a vfr flight in MSFS

FSDT had KPIT in the works for P3D and they canceled it. Safe to assume they have abandoned P3D save for GSX. I hope in a year or two they will live to regret doing so. Time will tell.
