GSX CTD FSLABS AC
« on: September 23, 2020, 06:25:20 am »
Good Evening,

I'll start off with saying that 99% of the time ALL of my FSDT products work as they are intended. The .01 comes from errors I have accidently caused. This one however I have been able to reproduce with almost every flight thus far.

P3DV5, FSLABS A320/21, ASP3D

I received these back to back error messages;

The common denominator with these errors comes from the automation of GSX calling for deboarding once I've arrived at my destination. Most recently a flight with the FSL 321 from PHX to LAX. Calling it for the boarding process went through without error, pushback, takeoff & landing all smooth no errors.  Once the aircraft is parked at the gate and I initiate the shutdown procedures, FSL auto calls GSX and requests to deboard. At this point the sim causes a CTD and spits out these errors. I have been able to trigger this upon parking at the gate with various airports by FSDT, Flytampa, Flightbeam, etc. Once I reload the sim everything works as it should, until I land at the next destination then the cycle starts over again.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the 2015 Redistributables for my 64bit system, I have ran the FSDT Live updater to make sure things are current, I do have FSUIPC that autosaves on the ground after about 10 minutes but I don't believe that's the culprit. ASP3D has problems of their own with their own CTD's so I don't believe it to be related. I was planning on taking this up at the FSL forum but I wanted to see if there was any suggestions on this front first. I know V5 is buggy and I suspect that the LM software still has some bugs to work out.

I can submit whatever is necessary if you need more details.

Have you tried today's update ? We have a completely new version of GSX, in 64, compiled natively with the P3D SDK ( previously, the Couatl engine was a 32 FSX client ).

In any case, specifically with P3D V5, the VCRUNTIME crash is a known problem that affects every program ( like GSX ) that has a menu, and we can only hope it will be fixed in the next update by LM.

No sir, I was not aware of today's update. I will run the updater and continue to fly like normal.

I figured the VCRUNTIME affected everything, I just felt that I had to include it here since the error log came out with those 3 issues.

Patience is the game, and I appreciate the assistance Umberto.
