Hi

I've got a strange problem at LSZH. Aircrafts stand not on ground but 2-3 meters higher. Any idea how to solve this problem?

Regards

Hi Patrick,
Do you use "Switzerland Professional X"? If so, it can be the problem. I solved this by modifying the file AP950150.BGL in Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\Eurw\Scenery directory.
Try the attached file. Don't forget to back-up the original one.

Iouri

Update: It works! Thank you very much :-)

Hi Iouri

Thank you. Yes I use Switzerland Prof. X
Unfortunately I'm at work right now, but I'll try it this evening and will report if it solved the problem.

Best Regards
Patrick

Hi Chris,
Here's the only solution to this problem I could find:
- FSDT's Zurich airport must be installed above "Switzerland Professional X";
- rename LSZH.bgl in Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\CHPRO\CHPRO9_APTS\Scenery folder to LSZH.bgx. I think this file is responsible for that elevation issue. Unfortunately, disabling this file produces a small terrain issue just behind the river, west of the airport but personnaly, I can live with it;
- rename AP950150.BGL to AP950150.BGx. You don't need any AP950150.BGL. It was a bad solution of mine since CHPRO9_APTS\Scenery folder contains the airports data for the region;
- rename LC.bgl in Flight Simulator 9\FSdreamteam\Zurich_terrain\scenery folder to LC.bgx for better blending of LSZH into surrounding landscape.
That's it!
Cheers,
Iouri
