Marshalling off the stand?
« on: August 12, 2020, 02:19:42 am »
First of all, hats off to the Dev. team for such an amazing product.
I do however have one question/suggestion:
At some airports, push-back tugs are not used, particularly with smaller regional aircraft such as the Dash 8s, ATRs, CRJs, ERJs etc., instead a marshaller would give simple instructions to start each engine, confirm chocks and GPU are removed and disconnected respectively, then after a quick flash of the Taxi light, instructions to either make a left or right turn or even power-back instruction, followed by a small wave good-bye to direct the aircraft off the stand.

My question is will that be apart of the program? If not, I would like to suggest that as an option.

Cheers,
Aaron

This option is there since last December: when the Pushback preference in the scenery ( or in the GSX customization page ) is set to "None", GSX will ASK if a Pushback is required so, you can control this with the customization.

If you don't want to customize the airports, there's an option to always ask if Pushback is required.
