Basel 1.2 Update released

Basel 1.2 released. Here's the list of all the improvements:

  • Many textures over the whole airport reworked in higher resolution.
  • Normal maps for MSAA setting further toned down to reduce shimmering.
  • 3D EuroAirport sign on front gates improved, with more realistic supports structs.
  • Added the dot on the EuroAirport logo.
  • Reduced color saturation on glass windows.
  • More Dynamic Lights on main terminals. Much better overall look at night.
  • Terminal interior textures improved, with more realistic scale.
  • Fixed a problem of rendering reflections in front of Gate 28A.
  • Removed Approach and TDZ lights from RWY33.

You can get the update from the FSDT Live Update, but since the changes in the update are fairly large ( most of the textures have been improved ), we suggest downloading the Full installer again, which should be probably faster. The new installer will indicate 1.2 version on start.

Thanks for LFSB and the update - I've just installed it...

Two things to be fixed please:

1. The TDZ of runway 33 ist still there.
2. There is a tall red flash lighted transmitter tower (standard object) south of and close to taxiway P - I'm sure it isn't there in real.

Hope you can fix that with a little update.

why we get no informations when LFSB is updated.
It s nice when FSDT write something when changes released. ;D

You surely do, by means of the automatic Live Update notifications ( which are checked every day ), and we also posted it on our Facebook page.

How long it might take between when an update is released and when it appears in the MSFS Marketplace?

Unfortunately when I bought this plugin, I didn't realize there was a way to buy it directly from the manufacturer, otherwise I would have gone that way. I know now!
