KLAX Trial Period has started

Hi,
I had to perform a uninstall / reinstall of my KLAX scenery. After that, I received the message "KLAX trial period has started" . If I try to register my serial number I get "Couatl scripting engine has not started.....". Couatl as well as GSX are NOT listed in the addon menu of P3Dv4.
Any suggestions how I can get Couatl and GSX back on the addon menu?

Hi,
I went ahead and removed all my FSDT addons and started to reinstall them. I started with GSX and the installation went w/o problems. So I loaded a flight in P3Dv4 and checked out the GSX de-boarding procedure and it went fine. I checked the add-ons menu and GSX as well as Couatl were loaded.
I then installed KLAX scenery, loaded a flight to KLAX and checked the add-ons menu - GSX as well as Cuoatl were NOT loaded and the airport looked strange. So I uninstalled KLAX and in addition to disabling Windows Defender I also disabled Windows Defender Firewall. I installed KLAX again with the same result, NO GSX & Cuoatl script engine. In both cases I got the message: KLAX trial period has started.
I then uninstalled KLAX and loaded a flight in KSEA to check if GSX is still working at other airports - both GSX as well as Cuoatl is missing in the add-ons menu.
I guess I need some help to get GSX and all my airports back online

Hi,
Again I uninstalled GSX and re-installed it.
Checked a flight in KMAI and GSX as well as Cuoatl are in the add-ons menue and GSX is working correctly (deboarding, unloading &  jetways).
I will not install other scenery until I hear from you why GSX does not get loaded after a scenery installation.

GSX surely loads correctly after installing a new scenery. The first start after a new scenery is installed will take a bit longer, since GSX will have to recreate the airport cache and during that time, you cannot start GSX, until you see the message the airport cache regeneration has completed, either with an error or a success.

Hi Umberto,
I had GSX running in Tampa and tried the following:
Installed KSFB from FSDT. After loading up the airport and loading a PMDG B738 (which takes 16sec to load) GSX and Cuoatl did NOT show up on the add-ons menu in P3D.
I would assume that the airport cache was recreated at that time.

You should have seen the cache regeneration text. However, if you *started* a flight with the PMDG, it's possible the PMDG startup countdown text is blocking it. Try starting with another airplane.

Hi Umberto,
Prior to your last response I already uninstalled all FSDT addons.
Now I reinstalled GSX and tested it at a 3rd party Airport (KTPA) and everything is fine (GSX and Cuoatl are loaded in the add-ons menu and GSX works fine - deboarding / pushback).
Then I installed LSFB (FSDT Basel), loaded the default F16. I did NOT see any text "recreating airport cache", but "the trial period for KSFB has started". Also GSX and Cuoatl are NOT loaded in the add-ons menu and the airport does NOT appear correct (see screenshot):

Try to restart Windows.

After reboot it loads the default LFSB airport and NO GSX & Cuoatl

- Configure the antivirus to exclude the whole Addon Manager folder

- Be sure the firewall is not blocking the download

- Run the FSDT Live Update again

Configured Defender w. exclusion of Addon Manager.
Ran FSDT Live Update (had Defender OFF & Firewall OFF)
Same result: LSFB default airport and NO GSX & Cuoatl

Just to let you know: I decided to load my FSDT KORD v2 and it loaded ok as well as GSX and Cuoatl appears in the add-ons menu. No idea what I did and why it's working now.
Will try to load the other FSDT airports I have

That's very strange, the KORD V2 installer installs the same software ( apart for the scenery files ) and runs the exact same Live Update that every other installer does.
