For six months I have tried to update my FS9 installation to the 9.1 version, but it would not install. Yesterday, on a lark, I decided to try it again. So, I download the 9.1 update from Microsoft and ran the installation program. To my surprise, I was able to run the program and it updated FS9 to the 9.1 version.
I have done nothing to FS9, so I wondering why the update finally was successful. Since I was able to update to 9.1. I was finally able to install and purchase the KLAS scenery, I could not do that before.
What happened, what changed?
