Be sure you run the latest installer for KORD V2, because the first one we had online for just a couple of hours, had a small bug, which created a wrong path for the effects in the add-on.xml file.
You can also check the add-on.xml file itself, under
Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FsDreamTeam KORDV2
Look the effects line, it's supposed to be like this:
<AddOn.Component>
<Category>Effects</Category>
<Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\FsDreamTeam\KORDV2\
Effects_v5</Path>
</AddOn.Component>
This is the correct line. If yours doesn't read Effects_v5 in the folder name, just change it, so you don't have to download the installer again. If it's already Effects_v5, it means you downloaded the fixed installer, so the problem shouldn't happen.
Note that, DL in KORD V2 assumes you have HDR Enabled. If it's disabled, it will look way darker.
