Any chance you guys could include moving airport veh's for FS9, like you did for LSZH, etc.?  The latest airports seem dead without them.  I know it is a bit more work for you, but it really helps to make the airport come alive, especially if you are flying online.  Please?

Virtuali has stated that the only reason FSX has vehicles right now is because it is a default FSX feature.  Due to the fact that FS9 doesn't have this feature built in, it wouldn't be beneficial to them to take the tons of time to actually put them in.

This is the reason for having car traffic over the roads, because it's an FSX default feature.

With regards to airport vehicles, it's a similar reason, but it's not an FSX default feature: it's something that we create with the FSX Addon Manager, but we can't reproduce it in FS9, because it relies on Simconnect and customizable ground AI traffic.

You did it at LSZH.  Can't it be done again for FS9?

In Zurich, we used old style Gmax animations instead, which are of course much worse compared to the Simconnect method, that uses real physic-modeled vehicles, and it's much more powerful and result in more realistic path following.

So, in order to have them in FS9 in the newer sceneries, we should do an extra work for FS9 only, which will never look as good as in FSX, THAT'S why we added support for this feature in the FSX version of the Addon Manager in the first place, so we can have better animations in the scenery.

The fact FSX allows this, is one of the many reasons why FSX is better: we just can't stop progress, and keep using older methods forever, just to allow them to be ported back to FS9. The change has been gradual and constant so far so, the later sceneries are more FSX-centric then the earlier ones, and this is going to continue in the future.

I don't think Oliver wants to support everyone with AES and Lite, the latter seems to be reserved for Aerosoft products.

Virtuali,

Is there any way we can have the cars stop for user aircraft in the LSZH scenery??
