Lost live updater for p3d

I have somehow lost the fsdt live updater for p3d.  How can I download a new one.  I can't find it anywhere in the addon file mentioned in another post
Please help.

Assuming you mean you lost the icon on your Desktop, the actual file to launch is:

Addon Manager\Couatl_Updater

Of course, the actual folder the Addon Manager is installed into, depends on your original choice. If you accepted the default, it's under C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager

There is nothing in that file except a folder called LiveUpdate, the only thing in that folder is a pye file, when I click on it, it is in Chinese.

Are you sure that folder is not a remains of a previous installation, and you have installed our products in another folder ?

If you are sure that's the path the installation was supposed to be in, it seems you removed everything, not just the updater, so you must reinstall everything.
