Double lax, default airport is still there

i've re-installed it multiple times yet the default airport does not want to be replaced

Whenever you have double objects on an airport, the culprit is never the airport itself, but another scenery in conflict, which in this case is likely the OrbX, which comes with an AFCAD for KLAX, which must be removed if you are using an add-on for KLAX, like the FSDT KLAX.

Sometimes, such conflicts can be solved by installing the airport last, so it will stay on an higher layer on the Scenery Library but, if this doesn't fix it, you must remove the offending AFCAD manually, when the sim is not running.

well then, how do i remove the offending afcad? also when using lorby-si's addon organizer fsdt lax shows up as red

I really don't know what you are trying to say with "no answer then", it's not as if the cause of your problem which, guess what, doesn't have anything to do with FSDT, hasn't been already clearly explained. You really cannot expect to be followed 24/7, especially across different time zones ( you posted in the evening *our* time ).

Do you ALWAYS work 24 hours at day ?

In any case, OrbX is only the most common cause of issues at KLAX, because of their So Cal scenery, and they have published a fix on their forum.

There are many other possible reasons for conflicting AFCAD, the others are conflicting AFCAD installed by Traffic product, like MyTraffic or TrafficX. You can use the freeware Simple Airport Scanner utility, which can help you find scenery conflicts:

 Go to your P3D folder and Type KLAX in the search box. Look duplicate AFCADs and delete those other than FSDT.
