Zurich 1.2 Addon manager upgrade crashes FSX

I downloaded and installed the new Zurich 1.2 with the Addon Manager upgrade for FSX SP2. However when I say yes to run Addon software it crashes FSX. FSX wil load if you say no, bit then you have no Addon manager active. Am I doing something wrong? I hope you can shed some light.

Do you see some kind of error message, or FSX simply *quits* to desktop ?

No error message, Umberto, it just quits to the desktop.

All right, try this:

- Uninstall Zurich, and reply "Yes" to the question about removing the Addon Manager.

- Reinstall and see if it works.


If not, try this:

Look in those places for the file esellerateengine.dll :

c:\Windows\esellerateengine.dll
c:\ProgramData\Esellerate\esellerateengine.dll  (hidden folder, enable hidden folders view in Explorer to see it)
c:\yourFSXfolder\esellerateengine.dll

If you find any of these files, try deleting them all, and then relaunch FSX.

It worked! I un-installed Zurich and Addon manager. I deleted all essellerateengine dlls as you listed and then re-installed Zurich 1.2. This time when I clicked yes to run addon manager it went on and loaded. All my purchased sceneries are there and active. We're in business!
