I thought this was related to FSDT airports only, but it happens at any airport I load.  Scenery loads at CYVR for example, but when it goes to generate jet bridges, I get the unrecoverable error message.

Next update: Disabled the GSX jet bridges and set back to default FSX bridges.  No issues.  Looks like something to do with the logo images on the jet bridge causing the issue.

This has been already discussed in several other threads. There's a known bug in FSX which affect reading of jetwa logos from the airport .INI file

There's already a fix online on Live Update now, for OUR airports but, if you have some airport customizations made with the previous version, you must move those files away to prevent the error, UNTIL we'll come with a proper fix.

I've updated with the live update about 30 times and YOUR airports still don't work.   How long as this fix been out on the live update? I JUST tried like an hour ago.

Much less than an hour ago.

I failed to say that, if you ever customized the airport, you must remove your .INI file for CYVR from %APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX, otherwise our (fixed) version won't be used.

I did this prior to the most recent attempt to live update. Still no progress.

I can only confirm that error can only happen on one of these 2 cases:

1) you have a customization file for CYVR, which you must remove

OR

2) you haven't run the Live Update

Those are the only two possible options, since the CYVR customization file which is online now, doesn't call that object anymore

Happens to all airports I spawn into. Literally tried what you asked for us to do, yet errors still pop up. I have the same problems as the poster.

Yes, I made sure that I deleted the .INI file and ran the live updater with Admin Rights. Uninstalled GSX, and reinstalled, then ran with Live Updater again. No Solution

Did you also uninstall the addon manager? That's the most important part of uninstalling all GSX products...
That did the trick for me, when I had troubles with GSX on first attempt.

This problem was specific to CYVR, and CYVR only. Before saying you have the same problem, post your error log first.

No INI files for this airport as well

Which confirms your problem doesn't have anything to do to the one reported here, which was very specific to CYVR read of its .INI file.

You don't say which simulator you use either, so it's difficult to go into the next troubleshooting step.
