Runway 04L at KJFK
« on: January 24, 2019, 07:33:54 pm »
Could someone kindly tell me why are there no runway centreline or edge lights showing up on Rwy 04L at KJFKv2 where I just had difficulty landing a PMDG747-8i in virtually total darkness?

Is there something missing from my KJFKv2 set up?

I have checked and I have lights on mine. Run the updater and see if that fixes it.

Has this been resolved? I just landed 22R and the runway textures did not load. The image of the white runway lines and edge lines was very faded with no runway or PAPI lights. Additionally the ILS was way off center. I just ran the updater a few days ago

There's nothing to solve, as you can see from the previous screenshot posted by shylock, which shows lights just fine.

It's not possible that "just" the runway texture wouldn't load. Has the rest of the scenery loaded normally ?

This is usually caused by not using Anisotropic filtering in the graphic settings and/or the Video card control panel. Try 16x for the best quality.

or PAPI lights.

We'll look into this.

Additionally the ILS was way off center.

22R at JFK is an OFFSET ILS so, it's *supposed* to be off center!
