Jetway numbers
« on: April 08, 2019, 06:51:40 pm »
H Umberto,,

I have a problem with jetways numbers. Just landed at FSDT CYVR, and at gte 65; I have jetway 1.
I allready talked about this problem with Javeir, as I thought it was anly with "new" GSX2 jetways, but it seems to happen with many more airports, even FSDT airports.

Any solution?
Thank's and best regards
Yves

About CYVR, are you using a customization file you made for that airport under %APPDATA%\virtuali\GSX ? If yes, remove it and use the one that comes with GSX.

No, nothing customized. Only original files.

I recently discovered the same problem at FSDT KLAX and my customized Puerto Vallarta. Every gate has the same number, 9 @KLAX and 10 @MMPR.

A couple of users reported about this problem, but we cannot reproduce it. If you are absolutely SURE you are not using an airport customization file (which might be wrong), it might be caused by a problem with video drivers settings.

Try installing the latest version of your video drivers, and do a customized "clean" installation.

I'm with yvesamuel. I have a clean install, but re-installing all my P3D software, plus addon's can't always be the answer. If you all con't figure out what in particular causes the problem, then it sounds like that particular feature just isn't for me...  ::)

I think I already said that:

- I was never able to reproduce it

- Just a couple of users reported

- Some users reported it went away by reinstalling video drivers and/or resetting their video settings to default.

Do you have a special video configuration, like multiple video cards or multiple monitors, or SLI ?

KBOS gate 7 (FT with new jetways by Javier).

Go into the GSX parking customization page, and check the jetway number text. Is it different for each one, as it's supposed to be ?

I did have this look. They have all other numbers, and the right one. Here E7.

Same here - the jetway page shows the correct number.; however, all of the rendered jetways show the same (wrong number).

Where do I go to remove all of the customizations for GSX?  What registery keys are involved?  How do I completely remove GSX from the system to start clean?
