After KLAX and Hawaii 2 are out, our main tasks will be GSX and updating LSZH and KORD. However, we'll likely do another "big airport" announcement, after Hawaii 2...
That's good to hear that you will likely do another "big airport" since FSDT has become the only reliable means to get high quality, performance friendly airports for the US. Although there is also FlyTampa, but they seem to want to stay away from the larger US airports and the airports they do produce seem to take a long time to develope. I think a lot of us who are counting on FSDT to keep on cranking out US airports, namely the mid to larger hubs will be greatly disappointed the day FSDT announces that they are going to either stop doing airports, stop making US airports, or decide to go another direction, like making a/c instead of airports. Although I think a lot of us, including me, would thank you profusely for the attention you and your team have given us so far for making airports for the US, since it seems many other developers dont want to make much for the US.
There are still a lot of great large hubs that many of us yearn for like Seattle, San Diego, Salt Lake, Phoenix, Houston, Miami, Detriot, Minneapolis, etc. Granted some of these might be done freeware and the Intersim version of KMIA might turn out ok, but that would still leave a wide variety of stuff for FSDT to work on in the next few years.
And, we are basically going in chronological order: LSZH is our oldest scenery, KORD is the next one so, KFJK might be a likely candidate after those two.
Even if KFJK doesn't get a full makeover, it would be really cool if the DFW style runway, taxiway, and terminal lighting (pole lights) could be implemented. Performance at KJFK is pretty good, but the blue taxiway lights that pop in and out are kind of an annoyance.
As well, it would be cool if you could get the DFW style terminal light poles into KFLL since it seems that sometimes they either dont want to turn on when you get close to them, or when the do turn on, not all of them come on, meaning that at some terminals where there are 10 poles, sometimes only 7 will come on. Actually I have observed this as well at KORD with the light poles.
It would also be nice if you guys could take another look at the way KFLL delivers or turns on objects that cause the slight pauses. I know that this has been covered countless times by you and by us asking, but even when scenery complexity is turned down to normal at KFLL and/or the ships and cranes are off or excluded as I have done myself, it still seems that KFLL produces more micro pauses that the other hubs. Comparing KFLL to KDFW, KDFW is super smooth when it loads obejcts and there are hardly any pauses, but KFLL, even with all the external FSX objects gone, still exhibits a lot more micro pauses when landing.
