After KLAX and Hawaii 2 are out, our main tasks will be GSX and updating LSZH and KORD. However, we'll likely do another "big airport" announcement, after Hawaii 2...

That's good to hear that you will likely do another "big airport" since FSDT has become the only reliable means to get high quality, performance friendly airports for the US. Although there is also FlyTampa, but they seem to want to stay away from the larger US airports and the airports they do produce seem to take a long time to develope. I think a lot of us who are counting on FSDT to keep on cranking out US airports, namely the mid to larger hubs will be greatly disappointed the day FSDT announces that they are going to either stop doing airports, stop making US airports, or decide to go another direction, like making a/c instead of airports. Although I think a lot of us, including me, would thank you profusely for the attention you and your team have given us so far for making airports for the US, since it seems many other developers dont want to make much for the US.

There are still a lot of great large hubs that many of us yearn for like Seattle, San Diego, Salt Lake, Phoenix, Houston, Miami, Detriot, Minneapolis, etc. Granted some of these might be done freeware and the Intersim version of KMIA might turn out ok, but that would still leave a wide variety of stuff for FSDT to work on in the next few years.

And, we are basically going in chronological order: LSZH is our oldest scenery, KORD is the next one so, KFJK might be a likely candidate after those two.

Even if KFJK doesn't get a full makeover, it would be really cool if the DFW style runway, taxiway, and terminal lighting (pole lights) could be implemented. Performance at KJFK is pretty good, but the blue taxiway lights that pop in and out are kind of an annoyance.

As well, it would be cool if you could get the DFW style terminal light poles into KFLL since it seems that sometimes they either dont want to turn on when you get close to them, or when the do turn on, not all of them come on, meaning that at some terminals where there are 10 poles, sometimes only 7 will come on. Actually I have observed this as well at KORD with the light poles.

It would also be nice if you guys could take another look at the way KFLL delivers or turns on objects that cause the slight pauses. I know that this has been covered countless times by you and by us asking, but even when scenery complexity is turned down to normal at KFLL and/or the ships and cranes are off or excluded as I have done myself, it still seems that KFLL produces more micro pauses that the other hubs. Comparing KFLL to KDFW, KDFW is super smooth when it loads obejcts and there are hardly any pauses, but KFLL, even with all the external FSX objects gone, still exhibits a lot more micro pauses when landing.

I couldn't agree more. It seems that many other developers either choose quality or quantity (or try to mix them and come out with lower quality and lower quantity than FSDT; not to mention they all run worse than FSDT).

Whatever update they make to KJFK will be great (I personally am looking for updates on textures (DFW style), changes on some of the runways and taxiways (and their lights), and some details like numbers on the ground for which gate is which for T5 and T3 or red runway hold short markers, etc...). Don't get me wrong, I love what they have but I love KJFK and I am there somewhat frequently so I notice the little things.

But I think I also read FSDreamteam was going to put a hold on any more new airports until MS Flight comes out?

It's not really MS Fight coming out (even if it does have an effect), but after KLAX is released, we would like to revisit some of our earlier sceneries, like KORD and LSZH, Chicago O'Hare because it was promised long ago and the airport was updated in the meantime, and Zurich because the airport was updated too, even if we haven't promised it but, since it's one of our best-selling sceneries, we would like it to bring it up to more recent quality standards.

After KLAX and Hawaii 2 are out, our main tasks will be GSX and updating LSZH and KORD. However, we'll likely do another "big airport" announcement, after Hawaii 2...

This makes perfect sense: big airport, updates to earlier airports, big airport, etc. etc. By the time you get those updated and a big airport out, KLAS may have their new tower and terminals open, inviting that one for an update! Smiley

First things first, After LAX is complete their's a revamp FSDT'S airports in order of release. Starting with Zurich, then Chicago O'Hare,Geneva, and JFK I believe that would round out the group. Then after that's all done then a new airport anouncement would come. Smiley

WHY every developer ignores completely Canadian Airports, it makes me soooooo sad that developers only focuses US based airports. I mean I LOVE the US but I love Canada a little more. How about Toronto or Montreal? or Vancouver!!!... although there is a guy working on a vancouver airport right now that looks so promising.

Maybe?

Personally, since I live in the US my primary interests are in large commercial US airports like the ones FSDT is working on or has already completed. Not to say I wouldn't buy a Canadian airport if they did one, but I probably woudn't be in a hurry to get it like I am with 99% of their other airports. Kind of the same reason I never bought the Hawaiian airports, I just dont fly that area, same with Canada. In fact, since I have been simming regularly since 2003, I think I have only flown to or in Canada less than 5 times. I'd rather go to Canada and go skiiing than fly there in the sim.

Generally I wouldn't want them to remake an airport that someone else has already done, in this case Imaginesim, but I actually wouldn't mind an FSDT version of KATL. Still rather them do KMIA though.
