It's so disappointing how Northwest Airlines is now delta. Northwest was my favorite airline and I was sad to see it go. KMSP was a major hub of NW, thats why I would love it!

I agree mergers they suck most of times sad to see northwest airlines go like that, now continental and united airlines Sad hope american airlines does not merge in the future.

You mean like how it merged with TWA, Reno Air, and WinAir, all in 2000?

Personally I am still hoping they tackle KPHX and KDEN at some point so we have more variety for the western side of the US. It's funny that the majority of addon airports from both FSDT and other devs all seem to be concentrated on the central to eastern side of the US with virtually nothing for the western side, besides of course LAX which is in progress, and KSFO by Flightbeam and KPDX by ORBX. This still leaves us a few major cities in the west like Seattle, San Diego, Salt Lake, Phoenix, and Albuquerque. Although San Diego is being worked on by Cielosim, at the rate the FS9 version is going, it seems like it will probably be years before the FSX version sees the light of day.

Not sure if this helps but included in ORBX's PNW package KSEA is upgraded (I believe), along with many other small northwest coast airports

I agree with cmpbllsjc about KSAN.  In fact I'm pretty convinced that Cielosim isn't working on it at this point.  Thier forum is very very quiet.  I would love to see FSDT work on KSAN and the immediate surounding area for FSX.

As FSDT has only made two European airports and 5 US airports I think its time for the boys to come home and give us another European airport like Lyon (no developer has done this one) or Malpensa (out of date ISD scenery). How about Moscow Domodedovo, Cape Town or Joburg ? The worlds huge and doesn't have to be limited to just the USA.

There's always Aerosoft and some other devs who have made for a bunch of European stuff.

Search the forum and you will see why FSDT will not do any sceneries for Italy

From what I have read there are more active simmers in Europe, more active in FSX and they purchase more commercial add-ons.  Again, tidbits from reports, forums, etc., from what I have read.  But I think I also read FSDreamteam was going to put a hold on any more new airports until MS Flight comes out?  But if they do, hope the concentrate on Europe (that way I can work on KSAN, ha!)  Wink

How about creating airport scenery for a region that hasn't received any attention from any payware developers! The Philippines and the main airport RPLL-Ninoy Aquino Intl! I have being buzzing this in the forums of all developers and I dont understand the negativity to this nation! I think it is a nice airport to compliment scenery like Imaginesim's Hong Kong intl and Fly Tampa's Kai Tak Intl! Asia areas like (Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia) are finally getting some love from a design group called "Thai Creation". they are doing West Asia justice!

Time to fill in that blank Philippine area now dont you guys thinks so! The only thing available in that area are all freeware scenery. The Ninoy Aquino Intl freeware is alright, but a high quality face lift is much needed!

It's not really MS Fight coming out (even if it does have an effect), but after KLAX is released, we would like to revisit some of our earlier sceneries, like KORD and LSZH, Chicago O'Hare because it was promised long ago and the airport was updated in the meantime, and Zurich because the airport was updated too, even if we haven't promised it but, since it's one of our best-selling sceneries, we would like it to bring it up to more recent quality standards.

After KLAX and Hawaii 2 are out, our main tasks will be GSX and updating LSZH and KORD. However, we'll likely do another "big airport" announcement, after Hawaii 2...

I was looking forward to CYYZ after KLAX.  I thought canada would get a little FSDT scenery, it looks like it wont happen.

I hate to sound like a broken record but I hope JFK is on the update list as well!

Yes, of course. But LSZH and KORD are more urgent, because there were significant changes at KORD, and LSZH is debuting the new terminal B at the end of the year.

And, we are basically going in chronological order: LSZH is our oldest scenery, KORD is the next one so, KFJK might be a likely candidate after those two.

would these changes be simple building updates or full scale treatment (ground, new buildings, etc)?

Very true, JFK has changes but not as drastic. Chronological sounds good, good idea. Thank you for the quick reply
