Error alert
« on: December 28, 2018, 07:20:33 am »
Is it possible to alert the user when an error occurs with the FSDT modules? Because this is quite irritating flying to an airport made by FSDT and when you get there the airport is not appearing, it's like a nuclear bomb has removed the whole airport from the area, not even the runway is displayed. I wish your sceneries were made via the normal .BGL system, which would prevent this from happening.

There's already an alert, with a prompt for you to read the error, and the option to restart Couatl.

This is what the restart Couatl option, offered when an error occurs will fix.

The obvious reason for our sceneries not made with the "normal" .BGL system, has been discussed so many times, and of course is made to allow things not possible with it AND to be compatible with FSX too.

Of course, since we are not doing any new scenery for FSX, and the P3D4 SDK allows more capabilities with the "normal" .BGL system, we'll be less dependent (but never entirely) on the Couatl module for future sceneries, but they will still not run without it.
