Difference between GSX L2 and GSX

Hello -
I had purchased GSX before the Level 2 addition and had functioning SODE gateways with that version.  I did the update that said to redownload the installer to accommodate the L2 expansion and have lost the single SODE gates.  It appears that the gates will only function with level 2 and that is a loss of features for me.  I have looked to see if I am missing something but am unable.  May I ask for some help/feedback?  Right now I had better features with the old version and I have no need to see the people.  By the way I do enjoy GSX am just a bit miffed.

SODE jetways in 3rd party sceneries should continue to work as they used to be

SODE jetways in FSDT sceneries that has been recently updated for SODE, requires the Level 2 expansion but, since it's FREE to use at FSDT airport, they'll just work.
