P3D v4.3 KLAX blue lighting **FIXED**
« on: July 12, 2018, 07:07:10 am »
Hello,

I have updated to P3D v4.3 and noticed that the airport has a blue light around it only at night time.

https://prnt.sc/k5gfho

Is this normal for 4.3? Thanks

The scenery night texture have a very slight blue color cast, which is intentional, but in your screenshot it looks way stronger than it's supposed to be. Maybe you changed the default HDR lighting parameters, possibly to increase saturation ? The defaults are:

Brightness 1.10
Bloom 1.0
Saturation 0.80

Or, do you use a 3rd party shader/tweaker, like PTA or similar ? Those would also change the way any scenery looks like.

Hi,

I disabled tomato shade and the blue effect disappeared. However before 4.3 it was fine using tomato shade from memory. I will have to adjust some values in the program and report back for any improvement. Thanks

Hi guys,

If anyone is curious the issue was caused by 'Autogen Emissive Lighting' If the autogen factor value is high it will be intense and if its lower it will be less intense. Currently using a value of 0.9 and it looks fine.

Thanks Quantas747 , I will try this as soon as I can, that "Autogen Emissive Lighting" option is it under Tomato settings?
