COUATL crashes upon KLAS load in P3D 3.4

I find that COUATL crashes upon loading KLAS. Until then it works fine with KLAX, KORD, LSGG, LSZH etc.
Once its crashes, I have to exit the sim and run FSDT live update all over again. After that it works.
I have a freshly re-built windows 7 PC and a fresh P3D 3.4 install.
The only other add on i have is Active Sky Next.

I tried researching the forum for a solution. While I found multiple posts on this, i am not clear as to what the solution is.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you installed GSX as well ? The latest KLAS doesn't work without it.

No. I do not have GSX installed. I haven't purchased it before.
My FSX installation didn't have GSX. It had all of the FSDT sceneries.

GSX works FOR FREE AT ALL FSDT AIRPORTS, because it greatly enhances the previous ParkMe™ feature, and it integrates perfectly with our airports. Purchasing GSX, will enable to use it at ALL FSX Airports, both default and 3rd party, even those not released yet

Of course, we are quite sure that, once you start using GSX, you'll surely want to use it everywhere else...

Interesting that my install works fine WITHOUT GSX; regardless, I'm downloading that right now!
