Couati ERROR on approach after selecting a gate.

Every time I am on descent or final approach and I select a gate position for arrival I get an error message that some add-on is causing an error. It happens at every airport, every time when on short final, and then ask if to restart Couati, after I select "YES" and reselect the gate position all works fine. All the messages are concerning some error due to processing an addon.

I have attached a copy of the error log message, I have seen others and they vary in length but all say it has to do with an addon. I can always supply more messages if necessary.

Umberto, where is ths GSX.cfg file supposed to be located? I found the one attached in earlier post using "search" in the my B737 airplane folder with the aircraft.cfg file. I found no other GSX.cfg file anywhere in the computer drives.

That seems to be the correct location for a GSX.CFG file provided by the airplane developer. If you customized it, another copy will be in %APPDATA%\Virtuali\Airplanes.

I don't see anything strange with the .CFG file. However, I don't know much about the airplane you use. Does it use special software modules ? I'm asking, because your error has never been reported before, and seems to be caused by a software conflict with something else.

No, you don't. Your first error was entirely different, and it was a GSX bug we fixed.

Now you have another one, which doesn't have anything to do with it, and seems to indicate you have some outdated files, probably months old. Since it's no possible to get outdated files with the Live Update, the only possible reason is that something is blocking the Live Update from downloading the updated files.

Turn off every possible antivirus and firewall, and run the FSDT Live Update again. From the Desktop icon, when the sim is not running.

OK Umberto, I switched OFF Windows Defender which is the only security program on my sim (I only use my sim for flight simulation), and carried out the LIVE Update and it did fix one other problem I had (KLAS Jetway not working) but it did not fix this reported problem. I'll try and identify which Addon is causing this and report back.

Your error log still shows you have outdated files, since that error simply cannot happen if everything is updated to the latest version.

Could you please indicate the precise, exact, sequence of what you did ? And please indicate the airplane used too.

AIRCRAFT
Prosim Boeing 737-800 and FS default B-737-800.

GATE SELECTION
During the approach to airport, I bring up the GSX Onscreen Menu, I select my destination (landing) airport and select the GATE. Some time on short final I get the ERROR message on screen. I select the option to restart Coautl, after landing I reselect the GATE once again. This time no more error message.

LIVE UPDATE
I just run the Live Update program. As mentioned earlier I have no anti-virus program and disabled Windows Defender.
