Wow, those look really sharp.   Am I right in thinking that runway and apron markings got added much later in the development process for KLAS and KJFK?  Maybe different development teams do things in different orders.

I think I will stick with my SimFlyer's KLAS so that I can spend the money on FLL.  To be honest, I think this Dev. Team makes the ground look a lot better.  I'm probably just crazy but from these shots FLL ground textures look much nicer than LAS.  Are you using different techniques?

Those ground textures are amazing! So crisp!

I agree. The ground textures in products like Geneva look much better than JFK, but if I recall, this had something to do with the size of the airport and type of material the taxiways were made of.

Hi Kappa,

will you also include this power plant (or whatever it is) with its red-white striped funnels near the airport?

regards,

Axel.

It is in fact a power plant operated by Florida Power & Light.

I'm hoping that it, as well as some of the basics there at Port Everglades are included as they are a big part of the visuals in and out of the airport. Also glad the FSDT is doing it as they will get the details right...all of the freeware to date that has placed the power plant either has it placed the wrong way (funnels N/S rather then E/W the way it should be) or missed the colors (red/white stripes and strange blue colored building).
