las flickering issue **SOLVED**
« on: September 24, 2017, 09:40:49 pm »
Hey guys,

I am having an issue regarding LAS airport... I noticed that the airport scenery has an animated flickering between default and addon scenery while the aircraft is sitting at the gate and as you taxi, it only happens with LAS airport.

Thank you for the help.

What other sceneries have installed for that area ? There's no flickering whatsoever using the default scenery so, the problem it's very likely caused by another scenery in conflict.

Do you have something from OrbX installed ? If yes, there are so many threads on this forum discussing this, and a fix on OrbX forum to fix problems their sceneries caused to the KLAS airport.

I am still trying to figure this out i noticed that it is the default airport scenery that is overlaying your airport, is that still an orbx issue?

thank you for the help

It might be or not. Usually, when the Orbx fix is not installed, you'll have elevation problems at KLAS. But if you have "just" default objects mixed in, it might be some other scenery in conflict, like one coming with an AI traffic package, which should be removed too.

ok I am going to disable orbx next and see what happens, I dont have any AI traffic addon so I am able to rule that out.

Which actual ORBX product(s) do you have installed for the area as they have many and this can really help trouble shoot the issue.
